Santo Tomas is a small Village on the South Coast of Menorca. It is near the large town of Es Migjorn Gran. It is surrounded by lots of hills and woodland area, and has quite a history in Menorca. There are many tales surrounding the area one to be about a witch. It is a popular destination for families. Many of the bars close at 11pm so it is not noisy late at night. The majority of the village is dedicated to tourism. Many of the apartments, villas, restaurants and hotels are part of the Set Hotels Group 〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.sethotels.com/en/menorca-santo-tomas.php )〕 which operates in several areas of Menorca. There are also several other hotel operators with properties in Santo Tomas. The high proportion of tourist accommodation accounts for the low population figure for the village.
